Tell how much energy a Place consumed
The City of Chicago, with ComEd and Peoples Gas, calculated the annual energy usage for all Census tracts in 2010. Cityscape could tell you the electric and natural gas energy consumption for the small area around any Address Snapshot.

Median Household Income Heatmap for Chicago that can scroll back in time so we can see how Chicago has evolved over time block by block.
It'd be nice to have other major demographics categories overlaid on the map as well.

Use the Bing News API to search news articles for mentions of the address or building name.

Send email notifications for new permits in a Place I choose
Users could elect to receive an immediate or daily digest email that lists all of the building permits in a Place they choose. This could be a members-only benefit.

Pull in data about a building or neighborhood from LocalWiki or Wikipedia
To enhance information on the site about a particular building or Place, pull in geotagged articles from Wikipedia or LocalWiki's Chicago site.
